The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the main train station, making it easy to explore the city and travel to nearby destinations. Within walking distance, there are also several nice restaurants, cafes, and shops, providing plenty of options for dining and entertainment.
The air conditioning in the rooms struggled to cool the space effectively, resulting in a somewhat uncomfortable temperature during the stay.

Hotel Il Guercino in Bologna was really nice in every way. The best aspects were the friendly and engaging staff, especially Isabella were really nice to ensure our needs were met. The location was fantastic, being situated in a quiet neighborhood near the railway station and within easy walking distance or a short bus ride to the historic center. The hotel facilities were great, withvery comfy and tidy air-conditioned rooms that provided a peaceful retreat from the summer heat. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, including fresh rolls, cold cuts, eggs, and sausage, all served in a charming breakfast room. a standout feature was the hotel's complimentary bike rental service, great to explore this good city with ease.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The location was perfect, just outside the center of the city, and very conveniently close to the main train station. We loved exploring the trendy neighborhood surrounding the hotel, with a cool bar right next door. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. And the breakfast was simply amazing - so many delicious options to choose from, it really set us up for the day ahead.
In short, we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
